Kingaroy Cheese was established in 2002 and is located on the Old Butter Factory in the heart of the township of Kingaroy (about 3 hours north-west of Brisbane) and is part of a food and wine complex which also showcases a range of locally produced wine, nuts and oil products. Tours are held daily at 11am  to show off the production and history of these products.

In our short history Kingaroy Cheese has won over 30 medals at major dairy produce shows throughout Australia. We have worked hard to try and produce some of the best cheese in Australia and sending product to shows is our way of checking that we are still on track and we hope you agree with the judges.

If you love cheese join our Friends of Kingaroy Cheese Club, run by cheesemaker Christopher Ganzer. He loves that personal touch, but don't rely on being flooded with hard sells - this is all about the cheese. Occasionally Christopher will send out recipe ideas or just interesting information about cheesemaking or even cheese eating. If you have any suggestions or tried the world's best cheese let him know.
