Cheese at Maggie Beer promo 7 October 2007 Well known television identity and regional food champion Maggie Beer made her way to Queensland last week to launch her new book, “Maggie’s Harvest”. Local cheesemaker Christopher Ganzer was on hand at a private presentation of Ms Beer’s book at the Brisbane providores, Black Pearl Epicure. Kingaroy Cheese's "Bunya Black" was featured in the dessert course along with three Christmas themed dishes. Mr Ganzer said, “I had the opportunity to present our cheese at Maggie’s book launch, as Black Pearl, is the distributor in Queensland for both Kingaroy Cheese and Maggie Beer products”.
Opening Day 2 Aug 2007 ay saw the opening of the Kingaroy Cheese cellar door. We are really happy with the presentation of the new shop and very excited to have a new wine partner in Barambah Wines. Bunya Black best cheese in Qld 11 June 2007 On Saturday night Kingaroy Cheese's Bunya Black was awarded a trophy for best Queensland Cheese at the Brisbane Specialty Cheese show. Bunya Black also won best White Moulded Cheese and a gold medal. But that is not all Kingaroy Red and Gourmet Feta also won gold awards on the night. Grand Dairy Awards Tour Diary 12 Feb 07 The Grand Dairy Awards were presented on Friday 9 Feb 2007 and Cheesemaker Christopher Ganzer was in the running for an award, with the Stuart River Triple Cream Brie. While Kingaroy Cheese didn't win a medal, Mr Ganzer partied with the winners and gave "The Friends of Kingaroy Cheese" an exclusive tour diary of his trip to Melbourne and some of the most exciting food destinations in Australia.
